Touch meteorites that have travelled millions of kilometres through space, and journey with us 4.6 billion years back in time to the formation of the solar system from a giant cloud of dust. You can also come face to face with the extraordinary power of the Sun and experience up close how the Moon was formed through a massive collision with Earth.
The meteorites from the museum’s extensive collection provide insight into the origins of both the universe and our planet. What can they tell us about life here on Earth? And are we truly alone in the universe, or is there life out there waiting to be discovered?
The exhibition opens together with the new museum on March 6, 2027.
