Would you like to purchase an annual pass?
It is currently not possible to purchase annual passes for the museum.
The museum at Øster Voldgade 5–7 will close after 1 November 2026. This closure is part of the preparations for the opening of the new Natural History Museum Denmark at Sølvtorvet, which opens on March 6, 2026
As an annual pass is valid for 12 months, passes purchased after 1 November 2025 will not be valid for a full year. Therefore, it is temporarily not possible to purchase new annual passes for the museum.
The exhibitions, museum shop, and café at Øster Voldgade will remain open as usual until 1 November 2026, and it is still possible to buy regular tickets. The Botanical Garden and the Palm House will remain open after museum at Øster Voldgade have closed down.

Do you have an active annual pass?
If you hold an already active annual pass, it remains valid under the same terms as before:
- Free admission to the Natural History Museum Denmark and the Palm House in the Botanical Garden
- Discounts on events
- 10% off in the museum café and in the museum shops
- 50% off admission to Denmark’s six other natural history museums
The annual pass must be valid on the day of your visit to the museum or the Palm House, as well as at the time of purchasing tickets for events or when shopping in the museum shop or café.
