Experiences in Copenhagen's most beautiful oasis
The Botanical Garden is especially known for its beautiful landscape, attracting both plant enthusiasts and visitors seeking a green retreat. The Botanical Garden is also part of the Natural History Museum Denmark and hosts various exhibitions and activities throughout the year. The museum itself is located in the picturesque eastern end of the garden.
A living museum
The old garden stands out significantly from other city parks by being a living museum with research, education, and nature conservation as its main tasks. Attached to the garden is also a herbarium with Denmark's largest collection of preserved plants, a spirit collection, a utility collection, a wood collection, and a seed collection, which are only accessible to researchers.
