The Museum's unique surroundings offer a fantastic opportunity for photo shoots all year round, both in -and outdoors. We can offer a variety of options, depending on the style and atmosphere you want. Our locations range from beautiful green gardens with versatile greenhouses to dramatic staircase rotundas.
As National History Museum Denmark, which include the Botanical Gardens and the Palm House, is a popular visitor attraction with a high activity level all year round, each shoot is planned in detail and staff from the museum is always present. This is to ensure that the Museum incl. the Botanical Garden collection is used responsibly and that the crew receives logistical support while on-site. The staff cost will be added to the prices below.
Due to the extensive internal planning in connection with film and photo shoots, the price is based on the first four hours (incl. arrival and departure) and the cost of staff.
Useful information
Inquiries and approvals of photo permits must be made at least three weeks before the actual working day.
We value the experience for our regular visitors, who have paid admission to experience the Palm House and the surrounding greenhouses. Therefore, photo shoots in this area always take place on Mondays, when it is closed to the public.
If a photo permit is given, there are specific conditions you have to work with and all on-site work must be carried out with consideration to the unique surroundings.

Add to this the cost for staff present.
