Is your stuffed rabbit or teddy bear truly special? In the autumn break, children can bring their favorite stuffed animals to the Natural History Museum Denmark to have them identified by our skilled teddy bear zoologists.
Children's rooms are home to countless exotic stuffed animal species, and during the teddy bear zoologists’ last visit to the museum, groundbreaking discoveries were made! Who knew that species like the purple three-toed dancing sloth (Bradypus disco), the rainbow owl (Bubo polychroma), the sushi seal (Phoca nigiri), and the rare pink wolf-unicorn (Canis unicornilupus purpurata) existed?
Now, Dr. Gjerløff and Dr. Trolle are back at the museum on Wednesday in the autumn break (week 42). They are ready to conduct a taxonomic classification of your stuffed animal and give it an official label with its Latin name – just like the animals in our scientific collections.
