The Fossil Gallery

In the gallery you can get close a selection of the many beautiful fossils from Denmark, examine them closely under a microscope and meet some of the museum's palaeontologists. There will also be an opportunity to try MitFossil yourself and join the new community.

On the new platform MitFossil.dk you can share pictures of your findings, get answers to questions and help create a digital reference work on fossils from Denmark. At the same time you will help researchers learn more about the climate and biodiversity of the past, so that we can better understand the challenges we face today.
