To a certain extent, the Natural History Museum Denmark provides its own photos and films for use in stories related to the museum, including the Botanical Garden and the now-closed Zoological Museum. Below you will find the guidelines for the use of photos and films that the Natural History Museum Denmark holds the copyright for.

Guidelines

  • Photos and films can be used to mention the museum and the Botanical Garden after prior agreement with the Natural History Museum Denmark.
     
  • Photos and films must not be altered, edited, or otherwise manipulated without agreement from the Natural History Museum Denmark.
     
  • Photos and films must not be passed on or resold to third parties.
     
  • All photos and films must be credited with the photographer's name and © Natural History Museum Denmark.
     
  • If possible, we would like to receive a copy of the material in which the photos are used.

Filming and Photography

As a private individual, you are welcome to take photographs at the Natural History Museum Denmark, including the Botanical Garden, as long as you adhere to the applicable rules.

Inquiries regarding commercial filming and photography (e.g., fashion photography, fashion blogs, product photos, music videos, etc.) should be directed to the Head of Commercial Activities, Anne-Marie Hoogerwerf-Hospes, at anne.hospes@snm.ku.dk.

Inquiries from the media regarding filming and photography requests should be directed to the Head of Communications, Rikke Sanderhoff Mørch, at rsm@snm.ku.dk.

Due to the high number of inquiries regarding filming and photography, please expect a response time of up to 5 weeks.
