Each year during the Easter holidays, we invite visitors of all ages to explore the wonders of the natural world. In our workshop, you can get up close to natural history and take part in fun activities.
Outside, in the Botanical Garden, you can enjoy the spring, take a trip to the tropics in the Palm House, or experience the remarkable transformation of live butterflies in the Butterfly House.

Enjoy Spring in the Botanical Garden
Spring is in full bloom in he Botanical Garden, where fresh shoots are emerging, and colouful flowers are breaking through the soil. Visit the garden every day over Easter – including public holidays – and explore the signs of the season or enjoy a stroll in the spring sun. And if your cheeks start to feel the chill, step into the Palm House and enjoy the warmth of the tropics.
