Mineral Hall
Step into the historic mineral halls and discover beautiful crystals, precious gemstones, Baltic amber, and silver from Kongsberg.
The majority of the two mineral halls is occupied by a systematic exhibition where minerals are presented in a crystal-chemical order, starting with elements such as gold and silver and ending with silicates like feldspar and zeolites.
Additionally, there are thematic exhibitions on famous Greenlandic deposits, zeolites and calcite from Iceland and the Faroe Islands, silver from Kongsberg, Baltic amber, and a smaller display on precious stones.
